As Rhino Shield’s signature system, Durable Finish Coat (DFC) is guaranteed to outlast the competition and is unrivaled in most (if not all) conditions. DFC is used in our two-coat or three-coat systems and is comprised of compact, variable-sized ceramic microspheres we can tint to virtually any color. Additionally, our Durable Finish Coat is a 100% acrylic waterborne, latex-based, high-build formula to waterproof, soundproof, insulate, beautify, and protect like nothing else on the market. Innovative technology works to combine elastomeric acrylic resin with urethane resin to create an elastic film that expands and contracts with hot and cold temperatures. This product also delivers exceptional impact and chemical resistance, exceeding all relevant industry standards. DFC’s shield of protection actually becomes part of the substrate when paired with our Adhesive Primer Sealer due to its first-rate adhesion and bonding properties.
